IT Support for Business — Warsaw

Looking for reliable IT support for your business? We provide comprehensive managed IT services for small and medium companies — on site in Warsaw and the surrounding area, and remotely across all of Poland. This is IT outsourcing in practice: instead of a full-time employee you get an experienced specialist exactly when you need one, and you pay for actual care rather than for presence in the office.

What managed IT support covers

  • Servers and workstations — Windows Server and Linux administration, updates, backups, monitoring.
  • Company network — routers and firewalls (MikroTik, Cisco), switches, VLANs, office Wi-Fi.
  • Security — backups, access control, ransomware protection, secure remote access (VPN).
  • User support — day-to-day help for your team, remotely and on site.
  • Business software — servers for accounting and HR systems, databases, terminal work (RDP).
  • Remote support — a secure alternative to TeamViewer (RustDesk) running on your server or ours: connections never pass through a third-party cloud and you pay no subscription.
  • Replacement equipment — computers and laptops for the duration of a repair, configured and ready to work.

Who this service is for

We work best with companies employing from a few to several dozen people. We know especially well the needs of accounting offices (accounting software, terminal servers, protecting client data), law firms and medical practices — but we also serve trading, manufacturing and service companies. This is the scale at which hiring a full-time IT employee makes little economic sense, yet equipment and data already matter enough that downtime means real losses.

Typical situations when it is worth getting in touch:

  • Your previous IT person left or stopped answering the phone, and nobody knows how the company network works.
  • The company is growing and the current “it somehow works” approach is no longer enough.
  • Nobody is certain whether backups actually run — and whether anything could be restored from them.
  • Employees need secure access to company resources from home or while travelling.
  • An audit, insurance review or a client’s security requirements are approaching.

Warsaw on site, all of Poland remotely

We are not limited to one city. In Warsaw and the surrounding area We come on site whenever the situation calls for it.

Companies across Poland we serve remotely — and in practice it differs little from working on site. The vast majority of tasks (servers, network, VPN, backups, software configuration, helping employees) we handle over a secure remote connection, usually faster than the travel itself would take. We also work with English-speaking clients, including foreign companies with a branch in Poland.

How we work together, step by step

1. A conversation and an infrastructure audit

We start with a conversation about how your IT looks today and what bothers you most. Then we review the infrastructure: servers, workstations, network, backups, licences and access rights. This stage ends with a list of priorities and a quote — with no obligation to continue.

2. A report and a plan — no pressure selling

You receive a concrete list: what works well, what needs attention now, and what can wait. We point out priorities and estimated costs. We do not sell hardware you do not need — if something can be solved more cheaply or left alone entirely, we will say so.

3. Cleaning things up

We handle the urgent items: fixing backups, closing security gaps, tidying up access rights and documentation. After this stage it is clear what the company has and how it works — also when we are not around.

4. Ongoing care

Monitoring, updates, day-to-day support for employees and response to failures. You contact us directly — by phone, e-mail or remote session, without going through a call centre or waiting in a ticket queue.

Ways of working together

  • Monthly retainer (ongoing care) — a fixed monthly fee covering monitoring, updates and support. The best choice when you want predictable costs and someone watching your IT before something breaks.
  • Ad-hoc help — billed for work actually performed, with no retainer. A good way to start or for one-off tasks: a server migration, a VPN deployment, tidying up the network.
  • Project — a fixed quote for a specific deployment (Nextcloud, a terminal server, private AI), with a clear scope and deadline.

Why companies choose COMP-TEC

  • You talk to a specialist, not a call centre — the person who actually does the work and knows your infrastructure.
  • Lower licensing costs — We deploy proven open-source solutions wherever they deliver the same result: RustDesk instead of TeamViewer, Nextcloud instead of cloud subscriptions, a private AI model instead of per-user fees.
  • Your data stays with you — wherever it makes sense, we use solutions running on your own server. That simplifies GDPR matters and answering client security questionnaires.
  • Business continuity — replacement equipment during repairs and remote help within minutes of a call.
  • Modern technology in practice — Docker, WireGuard, automation and local AI deployed in SMEs, not only in corporations.

Frequently asked questions

How much does managed IT support cost?

It depends on the number of workstations and servers, and on how critical IT is to your work. That is why we start with an audit — afterwards we give a specific retainer figure or project quote, with no hidden items. Ongoing care is usually clearly cheaper than employing someone full time, and with a dozen or more workstations the difference becomes substantial.

Do you come on site or only help remotely?

Both — and We are open to clients outside Warsaw. Most issues we resolve remotely within minutes, which is fastest for both sides. When physical presence is required (hardware replacement, cabling work, a new workstation) we travel within Warsaw and the surrounding area. Companies in other regions of Poland we support entirely remotely.

How quickly do you respond to a failure?

Under an ongoing care agreement, issues that block work get priority and we usually start acting within tens of minutes, often immediately after the phone call. Response times are agreed individually so they match how critical continuity is for you.

Do we have to sign a long-term contract?

No. You can start with ad-hoc help or a single project and move to a retainer only once you decide the cooperation works. We do not use multi-year commitments or cancellation penalties.

Will you take over after our previous IT provider?

Yes, and we do it regularly — including situations with no documentation and no complete set of passwords. We start with an inventory and regaining control over access, then tidy up and document the environment so the company is no longer dependent on one person’s knowledge.

What is the difference between IT outsourcing and hiring an IT employee?

IT outsourcing means an external specialist takes care of your IT and is paid for results rather than for a full-time position. You pay no salary, social contributions, holidays or training, and still get access to broader expertise — one in-house person rarely knows servers, networks, security and cloud solutions equally well. There is also no continuity problem: during holidays or sick leave an in-house employee leaves the company unsupported, while outsourced care is organised in advance.
